TG machine reamers feature hardened HSS construction, precision-ground cutting edges and a straight round shank, with 19 cutting diameters available from 2 to 18 mm plus 20 mm. Designed for machine reaming of existing holes in stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium alloy and mould steel, each diameter option is sold as one piece.

Selection Guide
- Match the nominal diameter: Select the reamer size for the required finished hole diameter. Available sizes are Ø2–Ø18 mm and Ø20 mm.
- Check the H7 range: Compare the size-specific range in the table with the tolerance required by your drawing or process.
- Confirm working length: Check cutting length against the depth of the hole and overall length against machine clearance.
- Check the machine setup: Confirm the shank and holder are compatible, secure the workpiece, and follow the machine or tooling supplier’s cutting-condition guidance.
- Plan the hole operation: A reamer is selected for finishing a suitably prepared hole; choose a separate tool for the initial hole-making operation.
