It served as a guide for ancient traders, detailing navigation routes and trading opportunities across the Red Sea, the Horn of Africa, the Persian Gulf, and the Indian Ocean β connecting ports from Roman Egypt to modern-day India and Pakistan. PERIPLUSΒ was founded by a group of professionals with deep roots in manufacturing, industrial supply, and global trade between Asia and Europe. Weβve spent years working within large corporations β gaining valuable experience, but also witnessing the frustrations of excessive bureaucracy, rigid processes, and environments that stifle creativity.
