Inspired by the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea
Who is PERIPLUS?
A name with a sense of direction.
Our name takes its inspiration from the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea, a Greek-language trading guide from the first century CE. It described ports, goods and sea routes linking Egypt, East Africa, Arabia and India.
That idea still resonates: helping people navigate unfamiliar markets and find what they need. Today, we apply it to industrial supply.
