Fully ground HSS-Co5 M35 spiral-flute machine tap for cutting metric internal threads in stainless steel and other compatible metals. The upward chip-evacuation design is suitable for blind and deep holes, with nine coarse-thread sizes available from M3 × 0.5 to M16 × 2.0.

Suitable for compatible stainless steel, carbon steel, mould steel, cast iron, aluminium alloys and copper. Designed for use with tapping machines, automatic machine tools, machining centres, CNC machines and suitable drilling machines.
Use suitable cutting fluid or tapping oil and select the speed according to the tap size and workpiece material. Spiral-flute taps generally require an operating speed approximately 30% lower than comparable straight-flute taps.
