The UNI-T UT196 is a rugged 6000-count True RMS digital multimeter designed for photovoltaic systems and high-voltage electrical maintenance. It measures up to 1700V DC and 1500V AC while providing IP65 protection, low-pass filtering and CAT IV 600V safety certification.

Optional Current Measurement

The UT196 does not provide conventional direct current measurement through its test leads. AC current measurement up to 3000A requires a compatible UNI-T flexible current sensor, such as the optional UT-CS09D, which is sold separately.
